Our History

Emmanuel Community Church was started in 1971 as a church plant by The College Park United Brethren in Christ Church in Huntington.

Today, Emmanuel averages over 1,600 in attendance in five weekend worship services and has 13 full-time ministry staff.

Led by Senior Pastor Dennis Miller, we endeavor to give Jesus Christ OUR WORSHIP through the careful study of HIS WORD and the application of it in OUR WALK with the result being disciples who will share HIS WARMTH and reach OUR WORLD.

Our theology statement is simple…

Our desire is to focus on the essentials of the Christian faith while keeping the less important issues open to debate and discussion. Our church fathers determined that the following seven items are essential for those who choose to be United Brethren.

Emmanuel Community Church is associated with the Church of the United Brethren in Christ which is headquartered in Huntington, Indiana.
