Who We Are

Our Mission

Our purpose is to give Jesus Christ our worship through the careful study of His Word, the application in our Walk, thus being disciples who share His warmth and do His Work to reach our World.

Our Goals

1. To glorify God in all we do corporately and individually. - It is our goal that each member of the church understand the importance of glorifying God in all areas of life. We want the Sunday worship services to be just an extension of each person’s individual worship throughout the week.  "We want to see every other goal through this goal of glorifying our Lord. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 15:5-6
    
2. To teach the Word of God consistently in all ministries of the church. - It is our goal to be known as a church that is based on the foundation of God’s Holy Word. We want this to be evident throughout the various programs and ministries of the church.  "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." 2 Tim. 3:16
    
3. To disciple each person to help them walk consistently like Christ. - It is our goal, as we study together, to help each person become involved in the discipling process. Every person within the church should be involved as a disciple or as a discipler. It is important that the people of Emmanuel are growing in their walk with Christ daily and that they are finding their place of service in God’s Church and in this community.  "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others." 2 Tim. 2:2
