In this world where trust and protection can not be counted on, we want to assure our children and their families that each child is safe in our ministry. For that reason, Emmanuel Community Church as instituted a proven policy called "Reducing the Risk" as well as other guidelines which help maintain a secure environment for our children. We want our children to feel safe physically, emotionally and socially!
All volunteers must complete a "Reducing the Risk" profile.
We employ screening processes for ALL of our Children's Ministry workers .
We require Children's Ministry volunteers to attend ECC a minimum of 6 months before being allowed to work with children (unless an extensive interview is conducted and references have been verified).
We require Children's Ministry volunteers to work in pairs for accountability.
