In Kid's Kingdom, our goal is to help Parents "Raise Disciples for the Kingdom of Christ!" Though our methods are multi-faceted, our Primary goal always remains the same: teaching children the God's Word and helping them understand it's relevance in their daily lives. Our Sunday School Program, offered each Sunday morning from 9:45 - 10:45, does just that.
ECC Children's Sunday School is provided for children age 2 through the 5th grade. Each classroom is designed to teach at an age-appropriate level, working with the children at their own developmental speed.
One of the best things about our Sunday School program is that our curriculum, Discipleland (Through the Bible Publishers) builds on the previous years learning experiences. For example, Kindergarteners learn about the average daily life during Bible times- village life, family life, etc. As a first grader, then, the child learns how we got the Bible, why we have it today and what God wants us to do with it. In 3rd and 4th grades, kids learn about the Gospel and how God's Word has spread around the world- even to this day. By the time a child is in 5th grade, he or she will learn how the Bible specifically applies to their own life through study, quiet times, and personal application.
We hope that all ECC kids will understand a little more about being a "little disciple" after participating in our Sunday School program!
