Often after a spiritual high, as a result of emotional and physical exhaustion, we come crashing down . And while we can explain it, we usually can’t control it. Today we read about Elijah’s experience with depression and fear, just after he called fire from heaven. We will be reminded that even on our worst days, God is still with us, caring for us, and directing us.
